High noon at Etin's shack
The Bladed Lady came
To talk to the woman
Young wander was her name
And saw hard sorrow's telltale streaks
A runnin' down Young Wander's cheeks
"Why are your cheeks now stained with tears?
What has this man done to you here?"
Young wander said, "I've faced my fears
And each of them drew forth a tear."
Quiet at Etin's shack
The Bladed Lady knew
There was so much more
The young woman could do
If she could only be set free
Somewhere far from that wretched man
"I'll teach you strength, and how to fight
And I can teach you to be free"
But Etin said, "You have no right
To take the girl away from me!"
Dead calm at Etin's shack
The Bladed Lady saw
The truth of the matter
And so she took the law
Into her hands, and by her blade
That wretched Etin's end was made
"What have you done?" The girl cried out,
and she let out an awful cry
"I've set you free" the lady said,
"For what he'd done, he had to die!"
