Sally said to Wander,
"where are you bound?
What have you lost,
And what have you found?
What do you have in the way of ambition
Or what do you have in your way?
Are you on any kind of a mission
Or are you content just to stay"
Wander said to Sally,
"I am right here,
My home have I lost
But Etin is near
I have no desires that I am pursuing
For that is not how I was taught
I'm trying to find a cool disposition
A lifetime absorbed in thought"
Sally said to Wander,
"You could have more!
There's something out there
You should not ignore.
What would you wish for, what do you desire
If you could yourself ring the bell?
You have the insight to make the world better
I'm sure you would do very well."
Etin said to Sally,
"What do you know?
She is but a girl
With a long way to go
A wish is a lie that we hope to make real
But lies never help anyone
First she must shed all of her desires
And then decide what to become"
Etin said to Wander,
"Go back inside
Take your desires
And set them aside
Try to remember the things that I taught you
And focus your mind, make it clear
There will come a day when you surpass me
But right now that day is not near."
